Winter in Dublin: 3 Live Music Events

Three free-to-attend live music events will run across Dublin city centre on Friday November 4th, Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th and pay homage to some of our city’s most influential musical acts.

Friday Nov 4th – Thinner Lizzy (Thin Lizzy Tribute Act) 

On Friday November 4th, Thinner Lizzy, the 5 piece tribute band will rock out performing Thin Lizzy’s distinctive Rock ‘n’ Roll sound and hit records from 5pm – 8pm. Lorcan Hughes will support Thinner Lizzy and get the audience dancing and singing along by playing the best of Dublin and Irish artists.

Saturday Nov 5th – The legend of Luke Kelly

On Sat Nov 5th, we celebrate Irish trad and folk music at this live music event in St. Patrick’s Park. Celebrating the life and songs of Ireland’s greatest folk singer, The Legend Of Luke Kelly is performed by renowned tribute act Chris Kavanagh & The Patriots.Guitarist and singer, Mick McNamara joins banjo and mandolin player and singer, Garry O’Meara to perform favourite Irish trad songs and get the audience singing along.

Sunday November 6th – The Joshua Tree (The Ultimate U2 Tribute Band)

On Sunday November 6th, we celebrate with a live music event in Temple Bar’s Meeting House Square, running from 5pm – 8pm. The Joshua Tree will entertain with their energetic live music experience and their terrific tribute to one of the world’s greatest rock bands, U2. Lorcan Hughes will support The Joshua Tree and get the audience dancing and singing along by playing the best of Dublin and Irish artists.

 

All these events are free-to-attend (non-ticketed) and first come first serve.
