Grafton Street in unrivaled for its many wonderful stores, which include top fashion brands, jewellery, flowers and food. As you stroll up the street you’ll be led to the beautiful St. Stephen’s Green Park, an oasis escape from the hustle & bustle that is Dublin Town.
Upper Grafton Street is made up of many Irish stores as well as international favourites, with some stores exclusive to Dublin, and a few that can only be found in the capital of the country.
When it comes to fashion, you cannot run out of stores to shop in. Pamela Scott is an Irish-owned business where finding the perfect occasion dress and eveningwear is easy peasy. As well as daily fashion, footwear and jewellery, this store has made its mark on Grafton Street with its vast space that span three floors. You’ll also find Ted Baker, ONLY, Dunnes Stores, Dune London, Accessorize and Monsoon, as well as ALDO Shoes, where high quality shoes for men and women reflect both style and practicality.
Jewellery is also a big feature of the Grafton Street businesses, which include Fields the Jeweller, Rocks Jewellers, Boodles, R&C McCormack Celtic Jewellers for traditional Irish designs, symbols and Claddagh rings, and John Brereton Jewellers. This jewellers was established in the year of the 1916 Rising, and is one of the older jewellers in Dublin. Its sparkling layout and excellent customer service are two of the many reasons why locals and visitors come to find their something special for that someone special.
Hickey’s Pharmacy is not only a chemist for medicine and prescription pick-ups, but also holiday necessities, hair accessories and a selection of designer fragrances, while Claire’s Accessories is beloved by children of all ages, and is often the answer for party needs from kids jewellery, hairbands and oversized bows to getting your first ear piercings, phone covers and hair accessories. Not shy of good food, Grafton Street is also home to Bewley’s, one of Dublin’s oldest cafés. An ideal spot for a cuppa and cake, enjoy yourselves within the beautifully refurbished dining rooms or overlooking Grafton St on the balcony. Other food options include Subway and Boomerang Donuts within Londis, as well as the café on the top floor of Dubray Books, which is also the only book shop on Grafton Street where you can take a moment and find the perfect read within the 3-storey building. And if you’re looking for a cool down then get yourself to Gino’s Gelato. Indulge in their crepes or waffles, or one of the many delicious ice cream flavours that you can then enjoy on the go or in the park.
A favourite store for many young and old, the Disney store is the sole store of its kind in Dublin with its three floors of pure magic, while Urban Decay set up their flagship beauty boutique at the top of the street for all the makeup lovers to enjoy, and Victoria’s Secret opened their iconic lingerie store that also spans three floors.
