Guns N’ Roses at 3Arena Dublin: Pubs, Food & Getting There

  • Mon, 8 Jun 2026

Old heads and new heads get ready, because Guns N’ Roses are coming to the 3Arena with Mammoth on the 10th. If you’re heading to the show, Dublin’s city centre has everything you need, with an endless number of activities, culture and pubs, Dublin has everything you need for week-long pre’s before the concert of a lifetime.

The Best Pubs for Pre-Gig Pints

Brannigan’s, Cathedral Street:

Brannigan’s is a hidden gem tucked away on Cathedral Street. Having been established in 1854, this traditional pub is steeped in history and has an unbeatable atmosphere.

The Oval Bar, Middle Abbey Street:

The Oval Bar is another spot that has seen it’s fair share of history (especially since it’s only a stones throw away from the GPO).

With an outdoor heated beer garden, a lovely snug that can hold up to 20 people and their own private bar, however you want to get ready for GNR, the Oval has got you covered.

The Palace Bar, Fleet Street:

The Palace Bar has been an iconic Dublin watering hole for the past 200 years.

They are a refined Victorian heritage pub that has completely rejected modernity. With no TVs and no speakers, if you’re looking for a match, The Palace is not the place to go, but if it’s lively conversation and connections you’re looking for, you won’t find a better spot than The Palace Bar.

Fuel Up: Best Restaurants & Food for a Big Night Out:

Smokin Bones, Castle Market:

Smokin Bones is an Irish take on American BBQ, with the founders having travelled all across the States sourcing the flavours and recipes to bring you the best barbecue outside of America.

Whether it’s a quick solo sit down before you head to the show, or a group get together hours in advance, Smokin Bones has got you covered.

If it’s fish and chips you’re looking for, then look no further than Beshoff’s on O’Connell Street. With 8 different fish options, a selection of delicious burgers, and a prime location overlooking one of Dublin’s most iconic streets, you can’t go wrong eating at Beshoff. PS: they offer gluten free options for any coeliac out there.

Rock & Roll Dublin: Music Shops, Record Stores & Hidden Gems:

MusicMaker, Exchequer Street:

Musicmaker has been providing top quality musical gear to Dubliners for the past 43 years! Whether you’re looking into a new guitar, keyboard, amp or drum kit, Musicmaker has them all in spades.

Golden Discs, Abbey Street Upper & Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre:

Golden Discs is a household name in Ireland, if you want records, CDs, movies or hardware, you cannot go wrong with checking out Golden Discs.

After the Show: Where Dublin Town Keeps the Night Going:

The Capitol Lounge, Aungier Street:

The Capitol Lounge is a late night cocktail bar/club. With whiskey cocktails, vodka cocktails, rum cocktails, gin cocktails or specialty cocktails you want to quench your thirst, The Capitol Lounge is an unbeatable choice.

37 Dawson street, Dawson Street:

37 Dawson Street is a one of a kind bar, with vintage paintings and unique artworks lining the interior, a fantastic atmosphere, great staff and a selection of gorgeous drinks, 37 Dawson is a spot you don’t want to miss in Dublin.

The Stags Head, Dame Court:

The Stags Head is a traditional Irish pub, that’s been licensed since 1770s (albeit the site has changed a bit since then).

While they might not have the eclectic extravagance of 37, they have the best atmosphere of any pub in the world.

Getting Between Dublin Town and 3Arena:

Luas: For Getting to the 3Arenawith public transit, the red line Luas is unmatched, if you ride the line all the way to “The Point” stop, you’ll only be minute away from the doors.

Walking: While you can take any path around Dublin and still end where you want to be, I highly recommend walking alongside the Liffey, it’s scenic, it’s iconic and it’s impossible to get lost.

Dart: If you need another form of transport, then the Dart is a solid choice, the Connolly Station will bring you within a 25minute walk of the arena.

Taxi: The classic taxi or Uber is a tried and tested way of getting around Dublin so you can’t go wrong, but be aware, rideshare services prices typically rise a good amount after shows, so be wary if you’re getting a taxi back home.

Dublin Bus: Dublin Bus has a plethora of routes that will drop you off beside the 3Arena, such as the G1, G2, 151 or 500 routes.

If Dublin is unfamiliar to you, then we suggest the simple Google maps to find the best way for you to get to your gig on time.
