This is Ireland’s largest costume shop and can be found in The Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. There is a huge variety to choose from so there is something for everyone. Do you ever find that Halloween costumes are generally tiny and horribly fitting? Well, The Costume Shop do a great selection of plus-sized costumes (Finally, someone understands us!). They’re also known for having some pretty awesome/age-appropriate costumes for tween’s and teen’s which can be hard to come by!
This quirky costume and joke shop has been dressing Dubliner’s for Halloween for over 35 years. The shop located next to the gaiety, and has an amazing collection of wigs, masks and full costume sets that come from suppliers all around the world. The store is always in high demand for Halloween (we’ve seen queues out the door in recent years)! Whether you are getting a full costume, or the finishing touches to your home made look, pop in and see their amazing options.
Miss Fantasia’s adult store located on South William Street, is jam packed with loads of pieces that would make for a unique Halloween look. Looking for that perfect gothic corset? Miss Fantasia have them in velvet, latex, leather any every other material you can think of! Visit Monto Vintage on Parnell Street, and have a root through their rails to find some absolute gems from around the world. Monto Vintage would be the perfect place to find your costume if you were going for a decades theme, or choose from their romantic style dresses for a gothic look. The clothes from Monto Vintage will give your costumes an authentic touch, and you will be able to easily work these pieces into your wardrobe as part of your vintage collection.
Pop into the Silly Shop on Liffey Street (or in St. Stepehens Green Shopping Centre) for some great costume selections, with paints, liquid latex and gruesome makeup that will make some seriously creepy looks. Choose from their range of beautiful costume masks and add a pair of their crazy coloured contacts to create a look that will really give people the heebie jeebies, or go for some of their props to add fun to your Halloween shenanigans.
Pick from the selection of costumes and accessories at Art and Hobby in the Jervis (or you can also check out the store located in St. Stephens Green Shopping Centre), or you could always go for their fantastic art supplies to make your own.
