New food experience opens in Dunnes Stores

Dunnes Stores opens its revamped store in the Ilac Centre this week, making it a new eat in or takeaway option for city customers.

The new food hall opened following a major revamp to its well-known store in Dublin One’s Ilac Shopping Centre. Great chefs and renowned food producers have come together to make it a fantastic Irish and international food collaboration.

There’s a chic and comfortable seating area with a freshly cooked meal selection covering breakfast, lunch and dinner options for eating in or take-away.

Lunch times have become even more exciting with delicious food served in Baxter & Greene. Amazing options to choose from include freshly cooked stone baked pizza, hot roast sandwiches, healthy salad bowls and a tempting cheese counter with charcuterie and antipasti alongside, all made fresh and on-site by their house chefs. Fresh chips are also made at the food counter and served with hot or cold sauces. In addition, Café Sol offers great tasting coffee and a selection of pastries to have in store or take-away.

All eating options are catered for and for those who want to start the day in the city with a healthy breakfast, Dunnes Stores’ Food Hall is open from 8.30am, Monday to Saturday and at 10.00am on Sundays.

Not only can you get your ready meal options, the shop offers customers the opportunity to pick up the best of quality fish from their dedicated in-store Fishmonger, fresh fish in Dublin city centre, caught daily, and selected by their in-house experts.

Choose from a wide range of cheeses at the Sheridan’s Cheese counter offering an experience like no other, while Nourish, Ireland’s leading health food brand has shelves packed full of delicious organic food, wholesome pantry essentials and vegan treats.

In addition to the array of fresh foods shoppers can fill their trollies from a full range of grocery staples to enjoy at home.

Meanwhile, green fingered visitors will enjoy the new Diarmuid Gavin’s Outdoor Spaces stocking a wide selection of house plants, trees, pots, fresh bouquets and gardening tools.

Welcoming the latest new retail offering at the city centre shopping destination, Billy Reid, Centre Manager at Dublin’s Ilac, says Dunnes Stores has uniquely created a world of great tasting food for shoppers to enjoy instore, on-the-go or at home. Billy Reid commented:

This new premium food offering truly enhances the Ilac Centre’s appeal for shoppers and those working locally. With over a dozen restaurants and handy cafés, the Ilac has an eatery to suit everyone and every mealtime
