From the 12th – 16th of April, Saba and Saba To Go will be ringing in ‘Songkran’.
Songkran is the New Year Festival in Thailand which marks the start of the new solar year and the beginning of summer.
In Saba, we are celebrating all week long! In preparation for Thai New Year, our Saba chefs have been busy preparing some delicious Thai dishes!
Why not try our Grilled Monkfish fillet**; in Chu Chi sauce which is a delicious thick red curry sauce or our staff favourite Phad Krapow Nua Sab****.
This is a spicy stir fried spicy beef with vegetables, chilli, and topped with a fried egg.
We couldn’t leave out our favorite Thai dessert! Saba will be serving Khao Niew Mamu which is a sweet rice in coconut milk, served with fresh mango. This traditional dessert is
heavenly, but also eaten by Thai people during the humid months to keep themselves cool.
To complete your meal and to Thai it all together, we’ve selected three Thai themed cocktails! Try one of these delicious cocktails during the Thai New Year Festival!
Thai Highball, Mekong Margarita and Bangkok Breeze.
