Saba is a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant enjoyed in a contemporary setting. The decor of polished concrete floors and dark wood is in as much taste as the authentic dishes you can get there.
Saba is an award winning Thai and Vietnamese Eatery on Clarendon Street, in Dublin’s city centre. Saba, which means “happy meeting place” in Thai, serves authentic cuisine at reasonable prices in a setting described as “colonial meets contemporary”. Saba is renowned for our delicious food, fantastic atmosphere and cocktails that will tantalise your tastebuds. They are open seven days a week from 12pm until late.
Since Saba opened in 2006 it has won many awards, including “Best Service” and “Best World Cuisine from The Food and Wine Magazine, Saba got commended for this award in 2010. Saba also won “Best Ethnic Restaurant” at The Gold Medal awards, “Best Asian Restaurant in Dublin” – InDublin Magazine and are included in “The Top 100 restaurants in 2011” – Bridgestone Guide.
Fresh Thai and Vietnamese herbs, vegetables and fruit arrive on a weekly basis from Bangkok to Saba – sourced from co-op farmers to ensure fair prices for farmers. All the beef, chicken and seafood is sourced locally in Ireland and the tea, coffee and sugar is organic and fair trade.
Saba also loves to push to test our diners palates with an array of unusual ingredients like the intense betal leaf herb, banana flower and nutritious red Thai rice.
