Meet The Kates, Ireland’s most exciting new band, bringing a fresh wave of indie rock to the scene. This all-female five-piece from West Cork is making waves with their razor-sharp hooks, driving rhythms, and lush vocal harmonies that forge an unbreakable sonic bond. Their debut EP “Pictures Here of Dreams” is a statement of intent, showcasing their unique sound and style.

The Kates have been gaining momentum, having recently taken to the stage at Electric Picnic festival and completing a successful tour of Ireland and Wales. They’ve also been making waves in their hometown, selling out shows at DeBarra’s Clonakilty, Levis in Ballydehob, Connolly’s Leap, and Coughlan’s in Cork. To top it off, they’ve had the opportunity to support acclaimed singer-songwriter Mick Flannery, further cementing their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the Irish music scene. They’ve also performed at the Night and Day Festival in Roscommon, showcasing their music to new audiences.

Their music has received significant airplay on RTÉ Radio 1, with two singles from “Pictures Here of Dreams” featured on the Recommends list for four weeks. Their live shows have been praised for their energy and charisma, with their intricate vocal harmonies adding a rich layer of depth to their performances.
