New York-based, Irish alt-country artist Podge Lane is praised for “making waves in the US Alt-Country scene” (RTÉ Folk On One) with the release of his fifth studio record, Ebb And Flow And The Great Unknown, reaching number 1 on the Irish iTunes album and country album charts!
Released on September 11th via Anthem Vinyl, Lane embraces Irish folk storytelling mixed with gritty Americana stripped back to ‘a voice, a guitar and stories worth remembering’ (PureM Magazine)
Following Lane’s move to New York in 2025, he has performed over 200 shows across the US at iconic venues including Pete’s Candy Store, the Bitter End and at Big City Folk. Known as a dynamic live performer, Podge has played sold-out solo tours across Ireland and the UK along with sharing the stage with acts like Charlie Parr, Samantha Crain, Vieux Farka Touré, The Wedding Present The Riptide Movement, The Brother Brothers, Cat Clyde and Annika Kilkenny.
Bringing his road-worn tales to Ireland, Lane was featured across national radio and TV performing on Cork’s Red FM and Virgin Media’s 6 O’ Clock Show supporting Ebb And Flow And The Great Unknown. With a slew of Irish tour dates including a live in-store album launch in Music Zone, supporting the legendary Mundy at The Dock, Carrick-On-Shannon and headlining Coachford’s inaugural Source Grassroots Fest, Podge continues to move with the tides from strength to strength as a true Irish troubadour.
Kate Dineen:
Dublin based singer-songwriter Kate Dineen entered the Dublin music scene a few years back after moving from her small rural village on the south-western coast of Ireland. On her music journey she self-promoted herself far and wide, resulting in her being signed with Winding Way Records (Philadelphia) in May 2022 to complete her first album.
Since that signing, Kate has completed her six-song EP Unfolding, and released three singles (doomscrolling, Flames and Easier in Time), has been featured in numerous print publications (Kate was named #Hotfor2023 by Hot Press Magazine, Featured in The Irish Post and The Irish Independent.), featured on RTE 2FM and BBC, Radio Kerry, and interviewed in studio on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE1. Kate has played many gigs and festivals throughout Ireland and toured the UK this past fall.
Kate Dineen performed at The Next Big Thing Festival, Sligo Live Festival, Drumlinia Festival, Battle for the Burning Lake, Ballinamore Fringe, the Cork Folk Festival and Showing Your Roots music conference. Beyond the personal growth she is undergoing, Kate is grateful for the world it has opened her up to. “If music has done anything for me, it’s led me to have some really cool experiences and meet some interesting people along the way”. No matter the obstacles that stand in her way.
