The phenomenal, three-time Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn makes an eagerly anticipated return to the National Concert Hall for a characteristically imaginative evening spanning Classical masterpieces, the unfamiliar, and the new.

Pianist Tom Poster joins her for an evocative recital featuring treasured jewels of the French violin repertoire: Ravel’s lush Violin Sonata No. 2 and captivating Pièce en forme de Habanera, Lili Boulanger’s delicate Nocturne, Debussy’s introspective Violin Sonata, and Fauré’s intensely lyrical First Violin Sonata.

Contemporary voices include the Irish premiere of Chinese composer Bun-Ching Lam’s contemplative Solitude d’Automne, and the Irish premiere of a new duo work for Hilary Hahn and Tom Poster by five-time Grammy Award-winner Scott Tixier.
