Since launching his own solo live career at the 2016, folk singer and bouzouki master Daoirí Farrell has gone from strength to strength, with numerous honours from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards to ALSR Celtic Music accolades and worldwide touring including the National Folk Festival (Australia), Vancouver Island Festival (Canada), Cambridge Folk Festival (UK), Rudolstadt Folk Festival (Germany) and many more. He has also received endorsements from the likes of Christy Moore (‘Daoirí has assumed the mantle of Luke [Kelly]’) and Mark Radcliffe (‘What a voice’).
