National Wax Museum Plus: Plan a Perfect Day Out This Christmas
Written by Sam Mahon
The National Wax Museum Plus offers an array of activities this Christmas, from Santa Claus to Krampus, making it a must-visit location during the festive period.
Did you know that 364 days of the year, Santa Claus sleeps in the heart of DublinTown, in his comfy bed at the National Wax Museum Plus. Visit the museum in all its glory this Winter, as Santa and his elves await your arrival with free gifts on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December from 12-4pm, as well as later dates on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December also from 12-4pm.
There will also be a treat for anyone that can find the 11 elf doors dotted around the museum! If all of this is not enough for you or your family, every child (and begging adult) that visits the National Wax Museum Plus this Christmas will receive an ‘Official Niceness Certificate’ from Santa Claus himself along with the chance to post their Christmas letters in the National Wax Museum Plus.
All of the Festive Family Fun Activities are included with admission tickets.
There are also activities for those who may not adore Santa like the rest of us including “Black Christmas”. This takes place in the Chamber of Horrors for those brave enough to search for the notorious Krampus. Just to entice you thrill seekers more, there is a recommendation for parental advisory for those under the age 16 due to the terror caused by Krampus. The final activity is for the Harry Potter fans as the famous Sorting Hat will be in the museum to decide which House of Hogwarts you would belong to.
