Santa’s Train Ride: GPO Plaza, December 10th, 16th, and 17th

Embark on a journey through the city aboard the Santa Train, departing from the GPO Plaza on December 10th, 16th, and 17th. Bring your family and discover the magic of the season as you travel under Dublin’s sparkling lights, with none other than Santa Claus as your delightful companion.

Dublin By Night Fest: Drury Street, South William Street and Capel Street

The return of Dublin By Night Fest to Drury Street, South William Street and Capel Street on Thursday (14 December) and Friday (15 December) adds to the festive spirit. It’s a fantastic two-day celebration packed with so much excitement and entertainment. Get ready to explore night markets, indulge in delicious food from various food stalls, and shop till you drop at the retail stalls. And that’s not all – there will be electrifying live music performances and street performances too!

Characters and Festive Family Fun

Little ones will be thrilled to come face to face with favorite movie characters like The Grinch, Chewbacca, and Iron Man, strolling through the city. Sampling opportunities, giveaways, and Christmas photo ops, creating the perfect setting for festive family snapshots.

Procession of Light 

And that’s not all! On Thursday December 14th, city streets will be illuminated by a Procession of Light. This enchanting display will pass through the streets with street performers, dancers and dazzling light displays, offering Dublin lovers an opportunity to bask in the city’s festive glow. The Procession of Light will make its way through Henry Street and Talbot Street before making its way to Grafton Street.
