Pygmalion:
- Pygmalion is a café, bar and nightclub located on South Williams Street.
- They have a large selection of speciality Pygtails from their watermelon shuga to the classic Aperol spritz, no matter your tastes in booze, Pygmalion has the perfect drink for you.
- They also have a huge selection of pizza’s in their pizzeria Little Pyg that have earned them the reward of best pizza in Ireland by the 50 Top Pizza Awards for 3 consecutive years.
Tapped:
- Tapped is a new late bar located on Nassau Street.
- They have an unbelievably large ammount of craft beers, bottles & cans to choose from, as well as an unreal selection of cocktails, wines and spirits.
- If you happen to want to go to Tapped before Halloween, they frequently hold events and show live sports on their TV’s.
SoHo:
- SoHo is a luxury nightclub located on D’Olier Street.
- SoHo frequently hosts events throughout their three different rooms. From their over 35’s nights to live DJ sets, SoHo is for anyone and everyone.
WigWam:
- WigWam is a live music venue as well as a café/bar on Middle Abbey Street.
- They also frequently host events such as drag brunches, tiki bingo, live music, comedy nights and even has a ping pong club night.
- There is also a delicious food and drink menu you can order from, with burgers, nachos, chicken wings and even cheese balls.
Idlewild:
- Idlewild is a retro bar located on Fade Street.
- The original Idlewild was located in New York which is where the inspiration was drawn, and in this New York establishment, you could such names as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, JFK and Marylin Monroe.
- They have a selection of specialty cocktails, gins, spirits and also have a bottle service.
El Silencio:
- El Silencio is a Mexican cocktail located somewhere in Pablo Picante on Clarendon Market. (see if you can find the secret entrance to El Silencio)
- They are a cocktail bar unlike any other, from the fact that they’re a secret, to the facts that the menu is only margaritas, Mezcal, Tequila and tacos.
- They don’t have a website, phone number or anything besides their Instagram.
Costumes Shops:
The Silly Shop:
- The Silly Shop is as it’s name suggests, a silly shop, and is located on Liffey Street Upper.
- They sell everything from joke gifts to fidget toys, and of course, costumes for every kind of event, whether it be for a kids birthday party or a night out with friends.
Guineys:
- Guineys is a department store located on North Earl Street.
- Guineys sells pretty much everything, from barbecue equipment and hi vis workwear to bed sheets and Halloween costumes, Guineys is the perfect spot for the Halloween season.
Sweets:
If you get trick-or-treaters every halloween, here are some of the best places to buy goodies to hand out, or to eat yourself, and trust me, I’ve been there.
Spar:
- Spar is a convenience store located on D’Olier Street & O’Connell Street Upper.
- They have a plethora of sweet options that you can choose from, all at a reasonable price.
Lidl:
- Lidl is a supermarket located on Aungier Street.
- They have an endless ammount of jellies, chocolates, crisps and much more, again, at a reasonable price.
Halloween Decorations:
Euro Giant:
- Euro Giant is a discount store on Abbey Street Lower.
- They have decorations from balloons to rick-or-treating buckets to spooky door stickers.
Flying Tiger:
- Flying Tiger is a Danish variety store located in the Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre.
- They have a wide selection of halloween garlands, mugs, fog machines and even a halloween doorbell.
