As well as serving the very best coffees and teas, many elements of the original café have been carefully restored, including the Harry Clarke windows, the historic front façade of the café and the open fireplaces. There are also many new additions to the café, including the complete refurbishment of Johnson’s Court and an expanded in-café bakery which allows visitors to see some of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and bakers create the unique and delicious treats on offer, including the beautiful Bewley’s Café Gourmand, Coffee Opera Cake and, original favourite, the Bewley’s Mary Cake.
