The Morrison Hotel
The Morrison Hotel is located in the heart of Dublin city, on the banks of the River Liffey, and only 40 steps across the Millennium Bridge from the lively quarter of Temple Bar. This 4* hotel is renowned for its style, ambience and discerning atmosphere, and our recent refurbishment has only strengthened our position as a hip and vibrant premier destination for both local and international visitors.
Visitors to The Morrison Hotel have always enjoyed the unmistakeable hint of rock’n’roll in the air, and during our refurbishment, we have taken care to preserve this distinctive, artistic aura, with nods to legendary Irish musicians, bands and artists throughout.
Their recent refurbishment has seen a complete redesign and stylistic overhaul of both lobby area and all 138 bedrooms in the hotel, courtesy of leading Irish architect Nikki O’Donnell. This has been achieved while staying true to our legacy of supporting new Irish design talent in everything from art to textiles and sculpture, but without compromising on the comfort and style which our guests have come to expect. A musical theme can even be found in certain bedrooms throughout the hotel, in the presence of famous Irish song lyrics.
The Morrison has always been regarded as one of the top conference & event venues in Dublin & we can accommodate meetings of 2 delegate’s right up to 240 delegates in our state of the art meeting venues. The Morrison’s stunning event spaces also offers an exclusive and unique wedding venue for your very special day.
First impressions count and The Morrison is one of the most luxurious and visually appealing hotels in the city. The quasi-minimalist design manages to combine a sense of Eastern spiritualism with Irish warmth. The hotel incorporates the 18th Century facade of a Georgian townhouse, housing a contemporary art gallery which in turn opens on to a Bohemian styled Courtyard Garden.
