Highlights talent & skills
This project, took two-years to make and was devised and curated by members of our National Advisory Council which comprises of people with Down syndrome from around the country to represent the views of their peers within the organisation. The message behind the exhibition is to highlight the diversity and depth of talent and skills this community of adults enjoy and have. Photographer Eric Molimard is the man behind the lens who captured a strong connection with a lived experience in each person’s life and each Council member had responsibility for choosing the idea and location of their individual photograph.
Once the exhibition is complete, the photographs will be made available to branches around the country who wish to display the exhibition in their area and continue this awareness raising project that celebrates Down Syndrome adult community.
