Santa is officially on his way to DublinTown as our favourite Santa’s Grotto’s for 2018 are announced!
It’s no surprise that Santa has a few helpers to ensure all the boys and girls get to experience a magical grotto. That’s why there are a few different places you can visit Santa in Dublin’s City Centre. To help you find the best match for your family and friends, here’s a list of where to see Santa in Dublin Town!
Jervis Shopping Centre
On Saturday 17th November at 11am, Santa will be arriving at his Magical Castle in Jervis Shopping Centre! There will be some FREE magical festivities throughout the afternoon from 11:00am until 3:00pm! He will be there throughout the festive season until Christmas Eve! See jervis.ie for more
To mark his arrival to Jervis Shopping Centre on Saturday 17th, there’s an exciting programme of events including:

Ilac Shopping Centre
Santa will make his way to the Ilac Shopping Centre on Saturday 17th November at 2.30pm. To help celebrate his arrival, DJ Ray Shah will be in the centre having a sing song with the littles ones and interviewing Santa’s Elves whilst everyone waits for the arrival of Mr.Claus! Arnotts
One of Dublin’s most iconic buildings will welcome Santa to their store on Sunday November 18th. You can witness the lovable man in red arrive at 2pm as he makes his way to his magical grotto. To make it a little easier for visitors, Arnotts have a ticketing system. You just get your ticket in store at one of the ticket machines. Give your mobile number and then you will receive a text message when Santa is ready to see you, plus it’s FREE! For opening hours click here
Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre
Santa will light up the Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre on Sunday, November 18th at 3pm when he will turn on the centre’s amazing Christmas Lights. Once he waves his magic wand to start the festivities in the centre, he will be in his Grotto on the top floor from November 24th until December 23rd. On Saturday, December 1st at 12 noon, the Powerscourt Centre will be welcoming back the main man himself, Father Christmas. Arriving from the North Pole to the joyful melodies of the Clarendon Choir alongside Mrs. Claus and the playful elves. Full of 18th century charm, Father Christmas’s workshop and grotto is a must see for all the family.
GPO Witness History
On December 1st, for the first time EVER, Santa will reveal how the children of Ireland’s letters make their way from post boxes around the country to the North Pole. Visitors to the unique Santa Experience at the GPO will meet the Christmas Postman and Santa’s Elves who help make Christmas happen, before visiting Santa in his secret grotto in the GPO Courtyard where each child will receive a special gift.
