What’s on in #DublinTown this Weekend – 23rd – 25th March

As always, we’ve got a list of events coming up in #DublinTown this weekend and there’s something for everyone to enjoy:
1. Samsung #Studio9
Step into #Studio9 on Stephen’s Green (Old Dandelion Bar) for the launch of their new flagship device the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. Explore the different rooms as you get to experience all of the different features the new device has to offer. Take a bounce on their trampolines to see how the super slow mo feature works or check out the glow room to see all the colours. Jervis Shopping Centre are hosting the perfect event for you to keep the little ones entertained over the Easter Break. They are putting on free Dinosaur shows this Saturday the 24th of March. The children will get to meet and interact with the extremely life-like dinosaurs such as Trixie the Giant T-Rex, Terry the Triceratops and Vinny the Velociraptor. They’ll also get to learn some fun facts about Dinosaur’s and the Jurassic Era. It’s the perfect family day out!
3. Who Am I – Unique photography exhibition
This unique photography exhibition celebrates the diverse interests, skills and aspirations of people with Down syndrome. ‘Who Am I?’ was launched as part of our World Down Syndrome Day celebrations on March 21st. The exhibition will take place in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, 59 William St South, Dublin 2 from the evening of WDSD and will be on display until April 30th. Photographer Eric Molimard is the man behind the lens who captured a strong connection with a lived experience in each person’s life and each Council member had responsibility for choosing the idea and location of their individual photograph.
4. A VIP Maternity Experience – JoJo Maman Bébé
Jo Jo Maman Bébé Wicklow Street have designed an exclusive VIP shopping event just for expectant Mothers and new Mum’s. You can book a one hour personal VIP session. Rachel and her team will go through all the handy essentials for you and your baby along with answering any questions you have about their products, clothes, and you can even get a bra fitting. STEM is an education curriculum that focuses heavily on the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. With STEM, children have the opportunity to take part in STEM activities/workshops. This event will take place in Arnotts Department Store and families big and small are encouraged to come along. Dr. Jennifer Cleary of RTE2’s Insiders and Science Week Daily will be on hand for some fun interesting science experiments. Never scared of anything too gooey or gross, Jennifer is always ready to explain and this is sure to be a highlight of the weekend. For more info, click here.
