What’s On in Dublin This Weekend (Dec 7-9)

Designer Dublin Christmas Market at Bank Of Ireland, College Green – Friday 7th December
Visit the Designer Christmas Market at Bank of Ireland, College Green and enjoy the wonderful Irish made Christmas gifts. Enjoy the festive cheer of the market, where their variety of stalls include fashion and jewellery, toys, crafts, decorations, and even food. The Bank of Ireland market is open today until 8pm.
Dublin Flea Christmas Market – Friday-Sunday 7th-9th December
The Flea Christmas Market returns to The Point Village with its first weekend boasting 140 different stalls each of the two weekends it will run. Each stall is different to the next as they’re highly curated from arts & crafts to design, jewellery and fashion, skincare, homeware, even furniture, antiques and collectables! You’re bound to find something for Christmas here. The opening hours are 11am-6pm with FREE entry.
Simon House of Light at Powerscourt – Friday 7th & Saturday 8th December
The Christmas extravaganza has taken over the facade of Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, as it lights up with a music & light projection show. There will be an array of entertainment & activities every half hour on the steps on Friday & Saturday from 5-10pm. There will also be collection buckets, raising funds for Dublin Simon Community.
Brian Vallely exhibition at Sol Art Gallery – Saturday 8th December
If you’re an art lover, we recommend you visit Irish artist Brian Vallely’s solo show ’60 Years Painting’ at Sol Art Gallery on D’Olier Street, as it’s the closing weekend of the exhibition. Celebrating 60 years of his painting career, the collection features 60 pieces, many of which have vibrant colours and Irish culture.
Arnotts Christmas activities – Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th December
There are lots of Christmas activities at Arnotts Department Store throughout December, and this weekend you can expect a lot of family-friendly fun:
? Buddy McSpuddy, entertainment and leprechaun magic, Saturday & Sunday 12-6pm
? Marvin’s Magic with Magician Theo, magic tricks, Saturday 10am-7pm & Sunday 11am-7pm
? Ryan Tubridy Christmas Storytelling, Sunday, 12.30pm then 1pm in Childrenswear
