TANGENT aims to bring together creatives of all kinds – artists, musicians, songwriters, poets, authors, storytellers, dancers, hobbyists – and enable them to tap into their own creative flow.
Through creative prompts, conversation starters, and sharing ideas with like-minded people, we hope you leave this event feeling connected, inspired, and eager to bring your ideas to life.
You are invited to engage in the prompts in whichever way you choose – this might look like chatting to a new face across the table to get inspired, or quietly writing/drawing in your journal. It might be jotting down words and phrases that catch your ear for a future creative project, or doodling aimlessly while you listen to the buzz of the café. You won’t be asked to share what you write.
Just bring a journal, a pen, and a book for our book swap – the rest is up to you! 🍊
