Café en Seine is heating things up this February with The Sunday Roast, a new comedy event created in association with Jameson. Hosted by comedian Edwin Sammon, the afternoon will see Irish rugby legend Ian Madigan take the hot seat. Jim Elliot and Anna Clifford will be primed to serve up sharp-witted jibes alongside a proper roast dinner, paired perfectly with Jameson’s smooth Irish whiskey. Expect quick-fire quips, hearty laughs, and a few friendly digs… all in the name of great craic.
Café en Seine’s executive chef Stephen Gibson will be preparing the best 3 course Sunday roast that will leave you waiting for seconds. With a Jameson cocktail on arrival and a whiskey paired with the main course, expect full plates and big laughs!
Ian Madigan will be the guest of honour to the inaugural “Sunday Roast” series, where Jameson and Café en Seine have collaborated to create Dublin’s first comedy roast and Sunday dinner event… An event that is set to be the hottest ticket in Dublin!
Seán Noonan, Marketing Manager at Jameson, said: “Ian Madigan has faced plenty of tough opponents in his career, but we’re not sure he’s ever come up against a panel like this. We’re thrilled to partner with Café en Seine for a Roast that’s all about fun, flavour, and a little friendly fire. It’s the kind of shared fun Jameson is all about.”
Barry Craig, general manager of Café en Seine, said: “It is really exciting to host such a cool event and we can’t wait to see how it turns out. We really do love to bring new, creative ideas to town and we know this one will definitely live up to expectations. Jameson is always a great brand to collaborate with and we are all buzzing for this event”
Taking place on Sunday, 8th February from 14:00–16:00 at Café en Seine, the event promises an unforgettable afternoon of roasts, laughs, and a toast
