St Patrick's Festival Big Day Out will see Merrion Square transformed into a street carnival for one day only!

This free family fun event will have lots of entertainment including street theatre, music, aerial performances, workshops, Irish language activities and to top of the festivities, a Ceilí.

Play Defender Run or Space Invaders on our life sized arcade games inspired by classic retro games where it's your job to bring the games to life.

Be inspired by mysterious storytelling by torchlight, shadow puppets, illustration and an exciting adventure puzzle room where Dublin UNESCO City of Literature's Citywide read 'Making Millions' will come to life in a Georgian House.

Science Foundation Ireland will also have a science zone where you will have the chance to experiment with cutting edge technology and marvel at skilled jugglers, illusionists and theatrical wizardry.

With something for everyone, it promises to be a day everyone will enjoy!
