About the Artists

Anna D is a spoken word poet from Dublin. Throughout her short poetry career, she has won multiple slams and poetry competitions including the All-Ireland Poetry Slam . She represented Ireland at the European Poetry Slam in Slovakia last year

Anna has an interest in the interplay between emotions and patterns of behaviour, family and collective trauma and the impact of oppressive systems on how we relate to each other and the world today. Her poems are raw, honest and relatable portrayals of her experience of the human condition in all its grime and glory.

Mikey Cullen is a Dublin Poet,secondary school teacher, actor,activist, lyricist and spoken word Artist. He regularly performs at shows and festivals across Ireland including Electric Picnic, Feile Belfast, All Together Now and many more. Videos of his spoken word have amassed well over a million views in total online. His poetry has been published in print in ‘Totally Dublin’, ‘The Wall Street Journal’, ‘Dlúthpháirtíocht’ and ‘Void’ amongst others and has been performed on National radio on many occasions including various RTE programmes and Newstalks Pat Kenny show.

Emmet O’Brien is a Dublin poet known for his raw, honest writing that explores themes like mental health, masculinity, love, and city life. He has published three novels, with the third, The Illusion of Perception also successfully adapted for the stage. Story bud?, his poem about male mental health struggles, was muralised in Temple Bar. He is the youngest poet on the Arts Council Writers in Prison initiative.

Martina Keegan is a mother and poet whose roots in The Liberties in Dublin bleed into her work with vibrant energy. A natural storyteller, Martina crafts prose that resonates deeply with her audience, exploring themes of friendship, love, grief, self-worth, and her experiences growing up in the heart of the city.
