Join author-illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs to read, ask questions, and help paint a whole flock of sustainable birds! Mags will read her new picture book, Robin and Pip (Graffeg Books), about the reassuring friendship between a bird and an apple tree. Afterwards, children and their adults can participate in making their own bright and creative little birds. All materials are supplied, just bring your imagination.

Age: 5 – 10 yrs (Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

Margaret Anne Suggs is an author/illustrator and her latest book is Robin and Pip (Graffeg). She was nominated for the Yoto Carnegie Medal in Illustration (2025) for The Dandelion’s Tale – An Allegory of Migration. Her other books include The Moth & The Moon (Beehive) and the Pigin of Howth series (Gill Books). Mags is a member of Illustrators Ireland, an archive of her work is held in the National Library of Ireland, and she is currently serving on the International Jury for the Hans Christian Andersen Awards. She can usually be found scribbling in her sketchbook.
