Dublin-born sisters Avril and Lorna Meade, aka Zeztra, bring their captivating alt-pop sound to North Earl Street this Culture Night. The duo blend blood harmonies with influences spanning pop, alt-rock, R&B and Latin music. Described by Hot Press as having “a polished, alt-pop sound with an international outlook,” Zeztra have quickly established themselves as an exciting force in Irish music.
The duo have toured across Ireland, the UK and US, sharing stages with Maverick Sabre, Damien Dempsey and Pillow Queens, with performances at Brixton Academy, Brooklyn’s Rough Trade, Vicar Street and Dublin’s 3Olympia. They have also performed at the renowned Ruby Sessions, appeared live on BBC Radio London with Gaby Roslin, and played their first London headline show.
Working alongside acclaimed producer John Reynolds and David Prendergast, Zeztra released their debut EP in 2025, showcasing the distinctive harmonies, songwriting and energetic sound that have become central to the duo. Now entering an exciting new chapter, Zeztra are preparing for the release of their debut album in 2027.
