ARIA No. 1 artist Meg Mac brings her extraordinary voice to Dublin for the first time, performing at Upstairs at Whelan’s on 2nd September in what marks her long-awaited Irish debut.

This special performance will present audiences with an exclusive journey through her catalogue including a first listen to material from the forthcoming album, ‘It’s My Party’. Trading the traditional concert hall for Whelan’s intimate upstairs venue, the show promises one of Meg’s most personal and captivating performances yet in Dublin’s legendary music space.

The performance coincides with the release of her compelling new single ‘He Said No‘ – an exploration of heartbreak and departure that marks the first glimpse of the forthcoming album. The track, born from an unexpected creative process with producer Nathan Jenkins (Bullion), captures the perspective of someone left behind at an airport departure, drawing inspiration from John Denver‘s timeless ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane‘.

Since her breakthrough with 2014’s ‘MEGMAC‘ EP, Meg Mac has established herself as Australia’s premier pop soul voice. Her journey peaked with 2022’s ‘Matter of Time‘, which claimed the ARIA No. 1 position, while her 2015 anthem ‘Never Be‘ reached the ARIA top 40 and claimed No. 11 on Triple J’s Hottest 100.
