Man/Woman/Chainsaw have been described by Rolling Stone at SXSW as “a young band in the process of inventing something ecstatically new”, the London-based six-piece recently returned with a new single “Adam & Steve”, part of a special one-off AA release.

Recorded by Geordie Greep producer Seth Evans & Margo Broom at RAK Studios and featuring verses shared between dual vocalists Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen, the song is their most immediate and melodic yet, full of a longing for what might be lost.

A precociously talented band from London, who recently celebrated their 150th gig. Since their debut at 16 years old the band have proven themselves as one of the most exciting and unpredictable acts in the country, both joyous and raucous in equal measures.

The band truly came of age with last years debut EP, “Eazy Peazy”. Recorded with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox, the group presented us with cinematic arrangements, mauled by moments of cacophony; the band’s Billy Ward says of their writing process,“we thrive on the thin line between pretty and noisy, often trying to jump between the two, it’s that chaos that excites us.” Eazy Peazy secured attention for the band from the likes of The Quietus, Guardian, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, So Young, Stereogum, The Fader, BBC 6 Music and more.
