First Fortnight presents an evening of stories, song and sharp wit at the Abbey Theatre.

Acclaimed songwriter and author Declan O’Rourke will sit down with award winning comedian and actor Deirdre O’Kane for a candid conversation about craft, resilience, and the joys and jolts of live performance. The audience will also be uplifted by powerhouse vocals from vibrant soul pop funk artist Toshín.

Declan O’Rourke is an acclaimed Irish singer/songwriter with seven albums, five making the top five in Ireland. He is also an author with a bestselling debut novel.

Deirdre O’Kane is a leading Irish comedian with international tours, major TV credits, and standout theatre roles, currently touring her hit show O’Kaning It.

Nigerian-born Irish-raised artist Toshín is known for her powerful performances at major festivals and is a staple in Ireland’s live music scene.
