Join us for a night with the next generation of talented Irish-language musicians! This gig will feature all the participants in this years Glór Ár Linne scheme. This project, created by Raidió Rí-Rá with support from Creative Ireland, The Arts Council and Culture Ireland, offers mentorship, workshops, practical experience and performing opportunities to young musicians creating through the Irish language. Expect fresh new Irish and bilingual music in a range of genres from pop, rock and indie/alt to folk and trad. Come to hear great music as well as innovative and inspiring new approaches to the Irish language.
This will be a bilingual event, fluency in Irish is not required to enjoy it!
Bígí linn le haghaidh oíche leis an gcéad ghlúin eile de cheoltóirí Gaeilge! Beidh rannpháirtithe na scéime Ghlór Ár Linne 2026 le feiceáil sa ghig seo. Cuireann an tionscadal seo, cruthaithe ag Raidió Rí-Rá le tacaíocht ó Éire Ildánach, an Chomhairle Ealaíon agus Cultúr Éireann, meantóireacht, ceardlanna, taithí phraiticiúil agus deiseanna taibhithe ar fáil do cheoltóirí óga atá ag cruthú trí mheán na Gaeilge. Bí ag súil le ceol úr nua Gaeilge/dátheangach i réimse seánraí ó cheol pop, rac-cheol, ceol indie/alt go ceol tíre agus traidisiúnta. Tar chun ceol iontach a chloisteáil chomh maith le cur chuige nuálach agus spreagúil i leith na Gaeilge.
Beidh an ócáid seo dátheangach, níl líofacht sa Gaeilge riachtanach chun taitneamh a bhaint as!
