The acclaimed DUBLIN GAY MEN’S CHORUS (DGMC) will GATECRASH the Gate Theatre on Sunday, 22nd June for two performances, which will take place at 3pm and 6pm. Established in 2012, Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus is one of the finest choirs in Ireland, showcasing the unique sound of an all-male choir.
Led by Music Director, Duncan Brickenden, DGMC prides itself on both musical excellence and a diverse approach to repertoire, while also providing a safe, inclusive community for gay men in Ireland.
For this very special Gatecrash and Pride month event, DGMC will mark the 10th anniversary of Ireland’s historic Marriage Equality referendum with two unforgettable concerts of music and celebration. The concerts will feature a carefully curated programme of pieces spanning a variety of genres, from vibrant pop anthems to reflective, poignant songs in honour of this momentous milestone.
The choir will pay tribute to the tireless campaigners, allies, and advocates whose dedication and courage paved the way for the introduction of same-sex marriage in Ireland.
