Photowalk with Carsten Krieger

Join photographer and author Carsten Krieger on a guided photowalk through the grounds of IMMA at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Starting at the courtyard, you will move on through the formal gardens to the meadow, finishing up at Bully’s Acre and St. John’s Priory. Along the way, you will tackle a variety of photographic topics including architecture, nature, woodland landscapes and heritage themes, and Carsten will share his way of creating a photograph, give tips and answer questions.

The meeting point for this walk will be the reception in the Johnston Room in the North Range of IMMA Venues.

What to bring: Camera (any camera, even a phone) and lens(es) – from wide angle to tele and a macro lens if you have one, tripod (would be helpful), laptop with card reader (if you want to review your images after the walk).
