Emma Hynes is a writer, singer, musician, and visual artist from Dublin, known for her evocative songs, captivating voice, and compelling live performances.
Emma’s music sees alt, new, and indie folk blend with pop, rock, and poetic introspection to form something unique, and reflective of what she describes as her own brand of ethereal longing.
Her highly-anticipated debut album, out this autumn, will be performed in full with her band at this unmissable launch show for the record.
Emma’s songs have featured on the RTÉ Radio One Recommends list, the Nova Guestlist’s Top 100 Songs of the Year on Radio Nova, in The GOO and Hot Press magazines, Billboard in the Irish Daily Mail, on RTÉ Entertainment online, and enjoyed national and international airplay.
She has headlined at the Dublin Quays Festival, The Workman’s Club, and The Bernard Shaw’s Racket Space where, along with a featured in-store at Volume Records and Books, Dún Laoghaire, she launched her celebrated double A-side 7-inch single in April of this year, following its release by Fuzzed Up Records.
With four singles from her forthcoming album garnering excellent reviews and consistent airplay, and her songs – new and familiar – being brought to life by a full band, there isn’t a better time to see Emma Hynes live.
