Eamon Brady has long been a quiet force in Irish music — a producer, mentor and multi-instrumentalist whose fingerprints can be found on acclaimed records by Junior Brother, The Whileaways, David Kitt, Dave Clancy, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock and many more.
Now stepping into the foreground, Brady releases Half Light, his debut album under his own name — a patient, immersive collection shaped in the stillness of late nights and early mornings. Built around fingerpicked guitars, modular synths, percussion, strings and ambient textures, the record traces the fault lines between beauty and unease, solitude and connection.
After years behind the scenes, Half Light (out November 7) marks the emergence of an artist on his own terms.
