Dublin Festival of History
Lovers of all things history - the Dublin Festival of History is here!
This FREE event takes place from 29th September to 14th October 2017.
Speakers include Third Reich expert and Hitler biographer, Ian Kershaw, former MP and the last Governor of Hong Kong, Chris Patten and art historian Janina Ramirez well known for her insightful history documentaries on the BBC and many more.
Programme details include:
- History weekend in Printworks, Dublin Castle from 29th September to 1st October with talks, discussion, exhibitions and pop-up history library and bookshop.
- Free history lectures, walks and films will take place in libraries and other venues all over the city until 14th October
- New! History day for families and children (7-12 years) in Richmond Barracks on 7th October. Expect re-enactors, pop-up talks, stories, drama and dressing-up – everything for the budding historian.
