This Culture Night, visitors are invited to explore the National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology and discover Ireland’s history through its collections and free guided tours.

Journey through exhibitions spanning Prehistoric, Viking, and Medieval Ireland, and learn about the people, cultures, and events that shaped the island over thousands of years. Visitors can join a Viking Ireland Tour at 17:00 to explore the arrival and impact of the Vikings on Ireland and Dublin, or take part in a Highlights of the National Museum of Ireland’s Archaeology Collection tour at 18:30, featuring some of the Museum’s most iconic objects.

No booking is required, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours meet in Reception on the ground floor. Suitable for families with children aged 8+. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
