Close to Home is a solo exhibition by RHA selected artist Tetiana Tsarenko. Working primarily with oil on canvas, Tetiana creates contemporary compositions that bridge realism and symbolism, exploring themes of nature, memory, identity and emotional connection. The exhibition will feature oil and watercolour artworks crafted in Ireland handpicked by the artist.

Tetiana began her formal art training in early childhood, entering the renowned Shevchenko Art School at age ten before earning a degree in monumental and decorative art from the Boichuk Academy in Kyiv. In 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, she relocated to Ireland — a transition that shaped her evolving artistic voice. Close to Home marks her newest Dublin solo exhibition and presents a deeply personal visual search for the moment an unfamiliar place gradually begins to feel like home. In Ireland, her work has been selected for the prestigious Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) Annual Exhibition and featured in a solo show at the United Arts Club in 2024.
