The Children’s Books Ireland International Conference is a weekend-long celebration of the very best in children’s books. Taking place in September, this annual event is a unique opportunity to critically reflect on the impact, imagination and importance of books for young people. Anyone with an interest in and a passion for children’s books is welcome to attend and participate in what is always an outward-looking, lively and thought-provoking event.
This year Children’s Books Ireland’s members have the special opportunity to purchase a limited number of Early Bird ticket 11 months in advance, securing their seat and supporting Children’s Books Ireland’s event programming. Early Bird tickets cost €120 and are for the full conference weekend, in-person.
The 2026 conference theme and line up will be announced in summer 2026.
