Books Upstairs Welcomes Hugh O’Donnell, Mary O’Donnell and Liam Ryan
One of the best book stores in Dublin Town is hosting a trio of renowned authors and poets during their July events celebrations, as Books Upstairs welcomes Hugh O'Donnell, Mary O'Donnell and Liam Ryan.
The oldest independent bookshop in Dublin, Books Upstairs invites you to join them on Sunday, July 15th at 3pm, where three brilliant writers will be there to speak with you about their work, and discuss the novelties of life.
Hugh O'Donnell will be taking part in this event. Known for his poetry and short prose, Songs for the Slow Lane, his selection of haiku that have appeared in Between the Lines. Mary O'Donnell, an author of four novels which include Where They Lie and The Light Makers,, she has become an inspiration for many authors and after Peter Lange published a volume of essays on her work alone. Tipperary man Liam Ryan was recently published in The Irish Times and has also won the 3rd Place Prize at Strokestown International Poetry Competition 2012, and is best known for his collection of poems Touching Stone and What's Happening in the Shade.
Encouraging all lit fans and poetry buffs to visit the book store this Sunday, this event is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions that have been on your mind after reading their work, or if have been intrigued by the world of writing yet haven't ventured so far.
