Singer-songwriter Aoife Moriarty crafts music that blends a jazz sensibility with indie pop and folk influences. Her debut album Dolls & Jigsaws (2009) received widespread recognition, including Jackie Hayden’s Album of the Year in Hot Press and a coveted appearance on RTÉ’s The Late Late Show.

Mick Heaney of The Sunday Times described it as “an arresting slice of smart coffee table pop,” while Hot Press praised its “slick musicianship” and “pristine production,” noting Moriarty’s ability to sidestep singer-songwriter clichés in favour of “highly accomplished quirky pop gems.”

After a long creative hiatus, Aoife returned to the stage in March 2025 with a full room at Little Whelan’s. On July 20th, she returns for a special solo performance — previewing songs from her forthcoming album Artefact, due for release in late 2025.
