What’s On in Dublin This Weekend (Dec 14-16)
There is a lot on this weekend from Santa weekend to cheering on the boys in green, and plenty of cultural activities too. Read up of what’s on in Dublin Town!

City Sightseeing Tours Christmas Charity Night Tours – Friday 14th & Saturday 15th December, 6pm sharp
Together with their friends at Big Bus Tours Dublin, this special Christmas-themed charity night tour by City Sightseeing Tours Dublin will showcase the city and is the perfect way to see DublinTown Christmas Lights in all their glory! The tour is free, but all donations are encouraged and will go to Dublin Simon Community. The tour leaves Stop 1 on Upper O’Connell Street, at 6pm sharp, and remember to wrap up warm!
A Fabulous Christmas Market at The George – Saturday 15th December, 12-6pm
Enjoy two floors of Christmas market goodies as The George host their Fabulous Christmas Market once again. Expect pieces from Irish designers and more as well as live music, free tarot card readings, and sweet treats too. Staying nice and toasty indoors, the market is family friendly and best of all: FREE!
Breakfast with Santa at Hard Rock Café Dublin – Sunday 16th December, 10am-12pm
The Hard Rock Café Dublin invite you to enjoy a wonderful breakfast in their Temple Bar venue, followed by meeting Santa Claus himself. Children will have the opportunity to sit with and tell Santa what they would like for Christmas – plus he’s more than happy to pose for photos with the family for the Mammies and Daddies! Santa’s Kingdom at National Wax Museum Plus – Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th December, 12-4pm
An array of Christmas activities await at the National Wax Museum Plus! Santa and his elves are there to help make Christmas even more fun, as Santa will be reading ‘The Nutcracker’ at 1pm and 3pm each day, then each child attending will receive one Christmas present and ‘Official Certificate of Niceness’. There will also be treats for anyone who finds all 11 elf doors dotted around the museum. In addition, the famous Harry Potter Sorting Hat will be in the museum too. Then for the dark side of the season, Krampus awaits with his Black Christmas in the Chamber of Horrors for those brave enough (PG 16!!).
Santa’s Grotto at EPIC Irish Emigration Museum – Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th December
Santa’s magical grotto at CHQ returns! Enjoy the festivities where you can bring the kids to see Santa who will present a Christmas gift to every child. You can also help Mrs Claus in creating the special reindeer food recipe then take home a little pouch of it to leave out for Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen & friends on Christmas Eve. Tickets are FREE for under 12 months, 1-3 years €8.50, 4-12 years €12.50, Adults €15, Seniors €13.

Christmas Hot Chocolates at Bewley’s
Warm up in between the busy shopping or Christmas activities at Bewley’s in DublinTown’s Grafton Quarter. The iconic café have three special hot chocolates ideal for taking a Christmas break with the kids, your other half, friends and family. Build Your Own Rudolph (€5.50) is an excellent kids hot chocolate complete with a Special Delivery note from the North Pole!
