Veritas launch Pope Francis Visit Memorabilia
The forthcoming visit by Pope Francis to Dublin for the World Meetings of Families event is an event that many Dubliners will want to celebrate.
For those looking for souvenirs to remember this major event, you should head over to Veritas on Lower Abbey Street where they have a great selection to choose from. Whether it’s a candle for the Festival of Families event in Croke Park on August 25th or a Pope Francis t-shirt to wear to the Open Mass in the Phoenix Park on August 26th, you can take home a piece of this event.
The specially designed memorabilia is exclusive to Veritas, who are celebrating 90 years in business this year. There’s mugs, fridge magnets, rosary beads, an umbrella (which can be used for rain or to stay out of the sun’s rays!) key rings, bunting, flags, CD’s and candles, to list a few. Books about the papacy are also available including The Quite Revolution of Pope Francis and colourful children’s books like Failte Pope Francis, a book of a collection of letters, poems and drawings from children across Ireland.
The souvenirs would also make for a great gift to a family member or friend who has connection with the Pope’s visit. The store’s windows have also been dressed up to ensure Pope Francis is made to feel welcome when he visits the capital in the coming weeks. The window display seems to be a huge success with people stopping to take a selfie with it!
For anyone with an interest in the Churches of Dublin City, Veritas have devised a walking tour of Dublin Churches for you to enjoy with a bespoke book and a sightseeing map of Dublin’s Historic Churches, available to purchase in-store now.
The team in Veritas on Lower Abbey Street are waiting to welcome you to their store and help you find a souvenir that you can turn into a keepsake.
