We can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner (is anyone else freaking out about the clocks going back??). We’ve picked some of the best Halloween events and activities going on in Dublin, so that you’re sure to have a weekend fully of creepy crawly goodness!
Dublin Ghostbus Tours
Step inside the world’s first Ghostbus and be transported into a world of ghostly happenings, comedy horror, and terrifying histories. Visit the Hellfire Clubroom and haunted museum downstairs, and play a hand of cards with the devil himself. You will be led through the tour by a sinister guide and driver who will do their best to put you at your unease.
Dracula’s Spooky Underground Sound Lab
Time: Drop-in sessions between 11.30am -1pm and 2pm – 3.30pm

This fun-packed and energetic DJ set will be perfect for young zombies, ghosts and all music-loving monsters ages 5+. Inside the sound lab you will find some of the weirdest musical instruments you’ve ever heard! Come along in costumes of any kind and make up your own graveyard dance moves.
Horror Expo

Crazy about horror and looking for something a little different? On Halloween Eve, Horror Expo will host a full day of fan focused events dedicated to the world of horror.
From panels, Q&A sessions, screenings, and insights into the world of paranormal investigations, it’s fair to say that this event is not your average convention. A true treat for the senses and an event not to be left out by horror lovers!
Urban Legends

A huge panel dedicated to some notoriously villainous characters will be painted live by the public around Smithfield and Stoneybatter, together with paintmaster Solus. This is a very special opportunity to join in on the fun on Smithfield Square as we invite you to come along and help Solus paint the final piece of this huge art installation.

Macnas : Sleep No More

Creators of stunning, large-scale images, brilliant chaos, immersive parades and bold, visual spectacles, Macnas return to the Festival with a parade to close the festival. Samhain, a world intoxicated by dreams and nightmares, a wedding and a funeral. Sleep No More is a restless ballad, a dark delirious and delicious waltz between love and loss.
Samhain at Sam’s Bar this Halloween

Sams Bar have summoned up something special! Sam’s will be transformed during Halloween weekend taking inspiration from their Celtic Spirits, their theme this year is Samhain at Sam’s.
Enjoy some Samhain themed cocktails, music till late throughout the weekend & some spooky surprises. They have devised a special cocktail for the week in honor of Bram Stoker & the incrediable Bram Stoker Festival taking place all over Dublin for the weekend.
