Meet, Eat, Drink was the ethos of The Exchequer when it opened 10 years ago, as one of the first gastropubs to open in Dublin. An immediate success, The Exchequer is celebrating a decade of offering great drink and food in a relaxed and sociable setting. Always innovating and setting trends, there’s been many awards and quite a few firsts along the way – from very quickly winning national awards for Best Gastropub and Best Cocktail Experience to introducing The Sunday Roast and the 6 Nations Sausage – The Exchequer is still raising the bar for hospitality in Dublin.
October has seen a series of celebrations – with a big birthday bash last Thursday, 31st October, with cocktail masterclasses, bar bites of signature dishes and complimentary drinks from the 10 for €10 menu of the most iconic cocktails created by The Exchequer’s talented bartenders. Also on the night, The Peter McVerry Trust, The Exchequer’s chosen charity over the years received a donation from a percentage of food sales and donations from staff and customers. The celebrations continue through November!
