Ted Baker Menswear Spring Summer 18 collection
The Ted Baker Menswear Spring Summer 18 collection is on the brighter side of colour!
Gone to where the weather suits his clothes, Ted is shaking off a lengthy hibernation and catching up on his color quota. This season Ted are bringing the carefree lightness of a summer vacation that is long over-due.
Ted Baker’s ss18 collection is taking its cues from the here and now, it’s all about clean silhouettes and pared-backed styling, which has been executed with a twist.
With a core of holidays blues, an earthier palette of dusty pink, dove grey and olive green coming into play, accented by sunny streaks of canary yellow, this season is all about embracing new ways to wear.
We see celebrated tailoring getting a revamp with unconstructed blazers, sporty details and slim fit cropped trousers creating a contemporary look. This is designed to be dressed down with a t-shirt and luxe trainers. Linens hark back to a classier time through mid-century graphic prints in key colorways.
Laid-back Riviera collars tap into the 50’s-inspired trend, bringing a taste of la dolce vite to polo and casual shirts. Simple Breton stripes wrap tops and short -sleeved pocket tees in nautical navy and peach shades. Trousers and chinos continue to be updates with contemporary cuts.
Embroidery threads its way across standout styles. Including vibrant exotic birds on both shirting and jersey. Ted’s signature patterns are complimented with subtle jacquards and oversized geos, while more muted layers are tied together with statement colour blocked knits.
The perennially popular bomber reappears in impactful patterns, alongside more minimal outerwear, from smart zip blousons to lightweight water-repellent macs with technical details.
This season Ted’s leather luggage styles from AW17 have been redressed in tones that mirror the collection.
