Street Style in #DublinTown – January
Even in the cold winter months, Dublin’s street style scene is still has prominent as ever. We took a wander around the City Centre with Street Style Photographer, Elaine Castro to grab some photos of you fashionistas!
Arthurs wears Zara jumper and trousers, with Rieker boots.
What he thinks about Dublin style – Dublin fashion is fine, I enjoy shopping in Zara because the sizes fit me well.
Elizabeth wears River Island jeans and body suit, with Zara jacket and Mango scarf.
What she thinks about Dublin style – Dublin street style is getting a lot better and it is definitely up and coming , but it depends on the area. I like shopping in Zara and Siopaella.
Ludovica (right) and Alma (left) are visiting from Italy. We are loving the matching outfits! They wear Nike hoodies, with French Connection denim jackets and Adidas hats.
What they think of Dublin style – We like Dublin a lot. There is a big variety when it comes to Dublin street style and it is very affordable.
Mark wears a vintage denim jacket, with H&M t-shirt and Zara dungarees.
What he thinks of Dublin style – Dublin style is getting a lot better compared to the past, and Dublin itself is getting a lot better when it comes to big brands.
Áine wears Only jacket, with Forever 21 jeans and Adidas runners.
What she thinks of Dublin style – Dublin style has become quite interesting in the last few years, and it has definitely become more unique. I like shopping in high-street shops like Penneys and New Look.
Andrew wears a €2 cardigan from a charity shop, with a Stussy jumper, H&M pants, Gosha Rubchinskiy socks and Air Max 95’s.
What he thinks about Dublin style – Dublin street style is good enough. Vintage shops are becoming a lot more popular, I like to shop in charity shops to save money and eventually set up my own charity shop some day.
Aoife wears Topshop jeans, Tola Vintge jacket and Nike Air Max runners.
What she thinks of Dublin style – I love it! I really like Tola Vintage and all the different vintage markets. People’s style has definitely improved. I prefer the vintage kind of look, so thats why I stick to the markets.
Kate wears Zara jeans, and her jacket is from a charity shop on Capel Street that she got years ago, she loves it and hasn’t taken it off since.
What she thinks of Dublin style – It needs to come from practicality nowadays, if its cold wear something warm!
Joey wears OSKA jacket with American Eagle jumper and Timberland boots.
What he thinks of Dublin style – It is quite good. There is a lot of interesting people out there. I like a variety of different brands like Zara and American Eagle.
Megan wears COS coat with Zara culottes and her boots are Carolina Boix.
What she thinks of Dublin style – It has definitely come out of its shell in the past few years, everyone has started to do their own thing.
