Wigwam Marks Ten Years of Music, Culture & Community with Month-Long Birthday Takeover
- Tue, 18 Nov 2025
This November, the iconic Abbey Street venue Wigwam celebrates a decade in business as it launches “Wigwam Is Ten”, a full month of events honouring the past 10 years and catalysing the next.
Over the last decade, Wigwam has stepped out from the shadow of its predecessor, The Twisted Pepper, to become one of Dublin’s most dynamic cultural spaces — home to Latin-inspired cuisine and drinks, alternative + themed events, and countless underground club nights showcasing the best in Irish and international live and electronic talent.
To mark this milestone, the venue is rolling out a calendar of events that includes club nights, drag shows, markets, exhibitions, comedy and games. These can all be found on the companies dedicated webpage https://www.wigwamdublin.com/ww-10
“A decade of throwing parties, making memories, serving food (and looks). You’re invited to join us for a month-long celebration of all things that make us Wigwam.”
Highlights include:
-
A roster of late night club events throughout the month of November under its in-house “STACKED” series — re-inviting favourite artists, teaming with long-time collaborators and programming across all floors: basement, main room and terrace.
-
A latin-inspired takeover of the main floor of the venue on Nov 14th with more info soon to be revealed
-
A tribute-style drag show featuring Wigwam’s resident queens and very special guests Amanda Tori Meating from Ru Paul’s drag race, reaffirming the venue’s queer-friendly, all-inclusive identity.
-
Day-time and alternative events: ping-pong tournaments, brunch clubs, trivia, bingo and comedy, all woven into the weekly rhythm.
-
Food & drink specials and a community-centric spirit that underlines what has defined Wigwam for the past ten years.
Media and press are welcome to join us as we reconnect with Dublin’s creative community, celebrate the city’s nightlife culture and open a new chapter for one of its most versatile venues.
