The Little Museum of Dublin will be open for 2026 from Saturday, 17 January, welcoming visitors for another year of acclaimed storytelling in the heart of the capital.
Ranked in the top 1% of museums worldwide on Tripadvisor, the Little Museum of Dublin is internationally recognised for its intimate guided tours, distinctive Irish humour and engaging exploration of the city’s social, cultural and political history. This year visitors can expect brand new exhibitions, artefacts and stories that paint a vivid picture of Dublin’s history.
Located on St Stephen’s Green, the museum tells the story of Dublin through a carefully curated collection of objects donated by the people of Ireland. Guided experiences highlight iconic moments, memorable characters and the everyday stories that have shaped the city across generations.
Home to hundreds of unique artefacts, captivating exhibition spaces and now one of Ireland’s last surviving K1 phone kiosks, the Little Museum of Dublin offers one of the capital’s most immersive and highly regarded cultural experiences.
The museum will open seven days a week from 9.30am to 5.00pm, with guided tours running every forty-five minutes. A daily walking tour, The Little Walking Tour of St Stephen’s Green, will also take place each afternoon at 2.15pm. Tickets are now available at www.littlemuseum.ie.
Trevor White, Founder of the Little Museum of Dublin, said “We’re delighted to open the doors for 2026 and welcome visitors from near and far. Being recognised in the top 1% of museums worldwide on Tripadvisor reflects the passion of our team and the generosity of the people of Dublin whose stories we are proud to share.”
A firm favourite with both locals and international visitors, the Little Museum of Dublin remains an essential stop for anyone seeking an authentic introduction to the city.
