Over half a million people lined the streets of Dublin today for the National St. Patrick’s Festival Parade, the pinnacle of Ireland’s national celebration of St. Patrick’s Festival.
Over 3,000 performers, artists and musicians took part in this year’s parade, alongside 165 dedicated volunteers, bringing the 2026 theme ‘Roots’ to life through colour, pageantry, music, and performance.
Audiences in Ireland and around the world also tuned in to watch the Parade live on RTÉ, as Dublin city centre was transformed into a vibrant celebration of Irish culture, creativity, and community.
The National Parade forms the highlight of the four-day and four-night St. Patrick’s Festival (14–17 March), supported by the Government of Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Dublin City Council.
