Moonpig’s Mother’s Day Tattoo Takeover 2.0 returns, bigger, bolder and in full bloom

After last year’s ink-credible demand, Moonpig is back at Heartbreak Social Club for a two-day Mother’s Day takeover featuring complimentary “Mam” inspired tattoos, floral installations and surprise giveaways.
They say love is forever, and this Mother’s Day, Moonpig Ireland is inviting people to honour their Mam in a way that lasts a lifetime.
Following overwhelming demand in 2025, Moonpig’s Mother’s Day Tattoo Takeover returns to Dublin for an expanded two-day celebration on Monday, 9th and Tuesday, 10th March at Heartbreak Social Club. The much-loved activation gives the public the chance to honour their Mum, or the mother figure in their life, with a complimentary fine-line tattoo.
Each day, a limited number of complimentary tattoos will be available on a first-come, first served basis, with early arrival recommended.

For 2026, the takeover has evolved into a two-day celebration, offering even more opportunities for the public to snap up Mother’s Day-inspired designs. From classic “Mam” script and delicate florals to playful nods to the everyday heroes we call Mum, Mammy, Granny or Nanny, each piece is designed as a small but meaningful tribute.
And because Moonpig is now delivering fresh flowers nationwide, this year’s event will be quite literally in full bloom. The exterior of Heartbreak Social Club will be transformed with a striking floral installation, creating a vibrant backdrop for those brave enough to commit to a little Mother’s Day ink. Expect flower-inspired designs, thoughtful details and plenty of moments worth capturing.
There will also be surprise giveaways across the two days, because while tattoos may last forever, Mother’s Day treats do not have to stop at skin deep.
The activation forms part of Moonpig Ireland’s wider Mother’s Day celebrations, showcasing its growing range, from personalised cards, including new GIANT cards for those going big for Mam, to fresh flower delivery nationwide. It is all about celebrating the little things mums do every day with gestures that are anything but small.
